Moyilla, I saw your post regarding you feeling upset about people complaining about your cute baby photo. From what I've read from other posts etc, I didn't take it as people complaining about you posting the pic, I took it as an issue regarding kids photos on the website in general. I think it's a legal /general rule thing rather than being personal against you ?0

nice to see the thread almost back to normalive missed it!
just been having a look on .com at the jemma kidd items,
i added to my basket
3 x Jemma Kidd Retractable Blusher Brush = £8 each
3 x Jemma Kidd Bronzing Brush = £9 each
this has then taken off:
3 for 2 on beauty accesories ( -£17)
3 for 2 on cosmetics & no7 ( -£17)
saved: £34
delivery: £2.95
sub total: £17.00
TOTAL: £19.95 :T
brill! over the moon, 6 things for £20! just ordered and paid using paypal sooo ssshh dont tell my fella he doesnt understand these things! lol
it didnt work on the make up bagor the midnight jewlles pallette.
Oooh well done! I just added those to my basket and I think the glitch is that these items are on
3 for 2 mix and match on selected cosmetics and No7 products AND 3 for 2 on selected Beauty Accessories? Trying to find other items that have both of these offers now!!0 -
Can someone please reassure me that the 342 will definitely kick in with the free lipstick voucher? It says on the voucher that it cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
I was chicken so i took the lipstick and a No17 mascara to the till, gave the SA my voucher and she said these are 3 for 2 go and get something else, so i did and it went through the till fine. It must depend on the SA.Sometimes, when one person is missing, the whole world seems depopulated. ~Lamartine0 -
i also got the 3 for 2 and the lippy took off making it 3 for 1 , gave my step mum a voucher they wouldnt let her do it , same store different sa so its just trial and error i thinkMaking a change in 20130

This whole issue seems to be getting blown way out of proportion.
It seems to me that most members are trying very hard to resolve the problems that have affected the Boots board, but there are a small minority that seem to be trying to blame instead.
I have read posts today in the Boots Refugees thread that are blaming users that may have complained about the way the thread was looking.
This is how it looks to me... a small number of people are responsible for the upset on this board, they are the people who despite pleas from others have continued to use the Boots Grabbit board as their own personal chatroom. The problem began long before Friday's incident.
The Chat that the majority of people are objecting to is that which is completey unrelated to Boots, nobody is complaining about the conversations that are necessary in order to clarify a glitch for example.
IMO it's about time that the blaming stopped. There is no doubt that the situation was getting way out of hand, it seems that some people have turned to the MSE forum team for help and now they are being branded as complainers. The rules of the board are simple enough and the forum team seem to understand that a degree of chat is necessary, both to clarify glitches and also to give the board a feeling of community. Totally off-topic discussions which exclude the majority of readers are not helpful and are causing the division that we are seeing now.
This thread should continue on the Grabbit board IMO but it can only do so if the personal off-topic posting stops. If it starts again then people are going to object. Next time we may not be so lucky as to be given another chance at sorting it out ourselves.
I feel that Moyilla's baby picture has been used by some as an excuse, an emotive excuse, to try and avoid the real issues and to continue blaming the complainers, as they have been labelled. The real issue is that there is too much personal chat. To those responsible, please accept responsibility for your actions, stop blaming people who object, stop hiding behind Moyilla and her baby (who is beautiful btw) and let's get this sorted out.
Moyilla, I understand why you posted the picture of your lovely girl, I also understand why you would now wish to remove it. If you are unable to get help quickly from the forum team then one way of removing it would be to make the picture private or add a password to the album, this should remove it from public view without the need for you to edit your post.0 -
Just to confirm the old style PC £2 off Pantene and new style PC £1 voucher work together.
It has also worked when Pantene was on 2 for £4 and on the current 3 for 2. I am now stocked right up!0 -
