It was me that got the EA GWP and Estee Lauder Mascara Samples on there own. I genuinely do not know how I managed to do so and didn't make it common knowledge as I couldn't work it out myself. Basically I had put items in the basket so I knew what to ask for at the EA counter and I forgot to remove them. When I removed the items 1 by 1 the GWP was still in the basket and allowed me to check out.

  • Hi all - I want to buy a new electric toothbrush for hubby. He's a bit of a snob so was thinking of going for the £70 one that's reduced to £34.95.

I've got a 1500 extra points voucher and a £5 off when you spend £30 voucher. Do you think I'll also be able to use the £5 off voucher that you can print off yourself?

Have I picked the best toothbrush? I'm sure one of you guys will do better at getting max points!:D:D:D

Good idea to post glitches in different colour, but posting the glitches in a much bigger size would certainly help them stand out more. :)

I did say in the now deleted post that it would be deleted as it was a brief acknowledgement to dotchas. It was irrelevant to the thread imo, and I fail to see what the post count has to do with it in that instance. I'd imagine most people would rather see no posts, than posts that clog the board up?

Secondly, it wasn't a question that related to any glitch or 'grabbit' - just a post about the dot com site - and there were no answers needed and no-one quoted it. It was experimental and, as far as I can see, only affected the two posters that thanked the post.

N.B. to other posters, the option to delete is not one I'd normally recommend as it can create problems (especially if the post has been quoted) so the option to delete should be used wisely. :)

EOS for me at least :) Laters.

I raised the point as the other night people were constantly deleting literally every post and people could have read your post as meaning that a reply should be deleted after read etc:rolleyes:

Deleting posts does muck up the count as it has happened previously

Maybe we should either post and keep it on the thread or pm the person directly if it has no relevance to others, save mucking about?

Is this an automatic 200points with Expert?? Sorry think I've missed alot of things with all of the goings on since Fri!!!

Oh and thanks to the poster about Palmolive Cashmere Shower Creme at S###ug got 8 for £2.14 today, 54p and BOGOF, but SEL still £2.19!!
I asked for pricecheck in my local s****drug and SA looked at me as if I was stupid and said 'Just what it says on the shelf'. :rotfl:
However, it did come up full price on tills, so offer must be in certain areas.
  • Hi peeps can someone post or send me the link for the recycling site for the old mobiles of course its the Boots one :D sorry if its on the 1st page i couldn't see it
    TIA
  • My heads in a spin with all these threads - but wanted to say: OOOOOHHH! Isn't the xmas stuff gooooorgeous. Got a proper look at it today and there are some seriously nice shiny sparkly 'buy me' things. But have you noticed the pricier things used to be £30-£35-ish. Now they've jumped up to £50/£60 since last year:eek: . (Or is it just me?). My favourite is the little S&G suitcase. (Drool).

No cheap 75%-off toys left - they've been totally cleared out in 24 hours.

Re. Repeat prescription voucher points out of mag: apparently you need to take in your prescription and give the name of your doc etc ? . Err - no thanks.

It was nice just browsing in Boots today without having to buy any glitches (no looking all shifty and trying to subtly shuffle my wodge of vouchers).:o

I think I'm more attached to this thread than I thought - I got all panicky when it disappeared :rotfl:and then got moved. Glad it's back :T . I think removing the thread for a while will end up with it going back to how it was with just a little bit less irrelevant chat (I'm one to talk !) which is what most people seem to want.
