  • Well, just spoke to a very nice CS man, and he said that the points problem is being sorted out with the new .com and that once I've recieved my order then it can take five days from the delivery date for them to be added, but if not I can call back and they will add them manually :D Yay :D So nice to speak to a lovely CS person ;)

  • Nothing much on the clearance today apart from Barbie/Bratz EDT for £1.50 and some ROC gift pack at £20 - didn't know how much it would have been originally so left that.:confused:

    Sadly all the nice Ted Baker/S&G bags from the other day have gone.... :o

    Didn't get a good chance to look at the Xmas stuff as OH was with me and in his "what do you need to buy in here" mood (he just doesn't get that need doesn't apply in Boots!!:rotfl: )

  • & anyone else wondering whether to gamble and wait for the sale to get their precious boots bounty:D, i have a few tips;

    1. most companies have a longer return period over xmas. you could buy your fav items and (if you can bear to not use them), return them for a refund after buying at the sale price.

    2. you could buy it before the sale, then if you hear its reduced in the sale, then ask the s.a if they would allow you to return it and buy it back at the sale price. (you could be cheeky and try this even if you've used some of it). nothing ventured nothing gained.

    3. if your purchase is in the sale you could buy it, then take it back with your original non sale receipt and get it refunded therefore getting the difference back.

    hth

    warning in superdrug some of the most popular items sold out well before xmas, boots are likely the same, so if there is something you'd be devastated if you didn't get it, then my advice is to get it sooner than later.

  • Do you know the "view first unread" button ? Mine doesn't seem to be working. When I click on it, it always takes me to the very last post on the entire thread. Does anyone elses??

    Managed to get 2 of the balm balm (rose and geranium) in Folkestone today. Not reduced to 20p sadly, but were reduced to 75p. They are perfect size pots for dd to stick in her school bag and the tops don't go missing unlike the more lipstick style balms. Had a shock though when they came in at £2.99 each on the till. Took young lad over to where the sel was and he reduced accordingly. Apparently there are 2 types, those on the shelf and those from a hangy thing and they have different barcodes. But all are reduced! There were loads there. Tea Tree ones as well with reduced sel but the fragerance free did not have a sel so don't now if they are reduced or not.
