I got a meal deal and it kept showing link save or something like that and the SA thought I had to get something else to make up the meal deal but I already had 3 products. It had given me 20p off for some reason.
Got another deal with some diary milk (which is 2 for xx??) and got another diary milk and only got it for 19p (the extra one that is)!!

    Does this help explain it?

Ugh, my makeup mirror is broken! It was a little lighted Revlon mirror, and something fell off the wall, knocked it off my desk, and knocked the mirrors off both sides. So now I really do *need* the no7 mirrors that were cancelled from my order! Rotten luck.

I may go in-store and try to buy a no7 mirror using the two different electrical vouchers. Does anyone know when the 19.99 sale ends on mirrors?

Also, how do you use coupons with a self-scan till? Many thanks!

It's like hotspot4 said. You scan all your purchases and then go to 'finish&pay' and then you'll get more options including scanning coupons. Scan one and put it in the coupon slot (normally to the left from the screen near where you put money in). If you have multiple coupons I think there's another option to say you have more. When you're done with coupons there's an option for no more coupons and then you go to pay. HTH.

Hi skibster, just to let you know that the £5 electrical TS one didn't work on SS till for me, but the normal one scanned fine, so last time I ended up being moved to a manned till   after the SS till "announced" "approval needed", luckily enough the male SA was very nice and after a few persuasion he took both :D

    In general for SS till

You scan the items, then press "finish & pay", choose the option "coupons", then scan your vouchers, then there's the annoying voice telling you to "deposit your coupons", then you have to put the coupons in a small hole for vouchers, many times it doesn't detect you putting it so it's useful to use a bank card/advantage card or something to push the coupons further in, then there's a button saying "done" sometimes you have to press, it will go back to your list of shopping plus deductions, do this again if you have more coupons, otherwise choose pay - cash, card etc...

    HTH!

BTW I just bought a few electrical vouchers on ebay but unfortunately they're all normal (coloured) ones, if anybody has the TS one (either elec one or fragrance one) for swapping , please pm me. Thanks in advance :A
If I can't find any swaps this week, will distribute them to you lovely bootsers the following week. icon7.gif

Hi princessmoneysaver, I did see that post. But I didn't save the 20p I only paid 19p extra for another diary milk chocolate bar. I think this would work for any product that part of a 2 for xxp/£xx. So I'm guessing if 2 bottles of coke are £1.50 but retail at 99p each.....then if you get 2 with a meal deal (sandwich and crisps/sweet etc) then you would only pay an extra 51p for the extra coke.....
Another bootser had already brought up that if something is BOGOF then you would get the 2nd one free is part of the meal deal.
  • The fan on our built-in oven has given up, and it is going to cost a small fortune to get it mended. We're thinking it might be better to pay (slightly) more and replace. Cbm

Hi CBM - exactly the same thing happened with my built-in Philips oven a couple of years ago. I contacted a local 'used electricals' shop that also offered repairs and a nice man fitted me a new one for 50 pounds including labour! HTH. To keep on topic - if you have to buy a new one I hope you get loads of Boots points!
