The fan on our built-in oven has given up, and it is going to cost a small fortune to get it mended. We're thinking it might be better to pay (slightly) more and replace. Looking at possible models, one of them is available in loads of places including from .com... with lots of lovely points. The cooker is slightly dearer there, but it got me thinking.
Does anyone have experience of buying a kitchen appliance from .com? Do they have regular offers on appliances, or codes to use?

OH was a bit sceptical about even thinking about buying a cooker from Boots (he used words like 'obsessive'!!) but I told him that if there were any problems to be careful of... or glitches to be had.... you guys would know :rotfl:
    Thanks in advance!

You don't earn points when you pay with points.

No  This is my dilemma too as i want to spend my points on some xmas sets, but it will be breaking my heart knowing i could have got £10 in points if i spent cash. I know that logically its costing me nothing as im using points but my logic usually does go out the window anyway when it comes to boots. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

  • May be a silly question but:
On the boots Christmas nights can I split my shops of 2 £50 lots and get two lots of 1000 points on the same night?

I think its 1000 points for every £50 spend so if you spend £100 you would get 2000 points anyway. If thats not the case then yes, just put it through in separate transactions hun. x

Ugh, my makeup mirror is broken! It was a little lighted Revlon mirror, and something fell off the wall, knocked it off my desk, and knocked the mirrors off both sides. So now I really do *need* the no7 mirrors that were cancelled from my order! Rotten luck.

I may go in-store and try to buy a no7 mirror using the two different electrical vouchers. Does anyone know when the 19.99 sale ends on mirrors?

Also, how do you use coupons with a self-scan till? Many thanks!
i think when you press finish it comes up very like Tesco ss tills. There is a button you press for coupon and scan, you may have to press 'no more coupons' then 'coupon' again to do the second IYSWIM. Just have a fiddle and make a sharp exit if you !!!! up or 'helpful SA' offers to take you to a manned till ;):D
    Good Luck!
