The fan on our built-in oven has given up, and it is going to cost a small fortune to get it mended. We're thinking it might be better to pay (slightly) more and replace. Looking at possible models, one of them is available in loads of places including from .com... with lots of lovely points. The cooker is slightly dearer there, but it got me thinking.
Does anyone have experience of buying a kitchen appliance from .com? Do they have regular offers on appliances, or codes to use?
OH was a bit sceptical about even thinking about buying a cooker from Boots (he used words like 'obsessive'!!) but I told him that if there were any problems to be careful of... or glitches to be had.... you guys would know :rotfl:
Thanks in advance!

I was in Meadowhall and I forgot the Daniel Sandler thing but I did get:
3 x Dr Who screwdriver torch thingummys - if anyone needs 1. I really only needed one.
Davidoff Wave for 50p with the two fragrance vouchers.
Also, I bought 3 items off the H&B range, make up brushes and such like but the 342 didn't kick in. Worth checking if you do the same, the SA voided one off as free though so I was ok.
Obsessing about remortgaging and interest rates all day, every day:)0 -
Gosh! I've just been to 7 boots stores yesterday and today. I just cant stop bootsing! There's hardly any haircare reductions around london though
I'll have to continue keeping a lookout. Could do with some lovely shampoo and conditioners. Finally saw balm balms in 2 stores, but none of them had them reduced... I think it's the thrill of the chase, but I want balm balms so badly now, even though I've got other lipbalms still in my drawer.

Looking at .com I see the brush is £12 and the mirror's are £9.99 each so has anybody else paid these prices instore or have I been overcharged and do I get in touch with CS? I had also bought other things and I was concerned about using my husbands advantage card as they are renewing mine I did not notice till I got home how much I had paid.
Because .com is technically a separate company there can be differences in prices. I seem to remember no7 eye/lip pencils being £2/3 cheaper online than instore for example. However, as another poster has saw a SEL in their store for £9.99 on the mirror it would be worth bringing yours back and checking the SEL in your store.:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -

We bought a Stoves oven from Boots Kitchen appliances earlier this year, and I wish every company was like them. Their customer service is second to none... deliveries and arrive when they should, customer services are polite and helpful... and best of all lots of lovely AC points!!!

Hi CBM, I was looking at buying an oven and hob from boots at new year, and the offer at the time was double points on selected appliances. There were no bonus points codes or anything at the time, like you can usually find for .com. But, depending on how much you are spending you could get a nice amount back in points anyway. I didn't buy from them in the end anyway as they don't deliver to NI :starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -
footymadgal wrote: »Just to confirm it's £10 in points for a £50 spend - that's what I'm waiting for! It will still be 3 for 2.
Can you use your points to pay for goods and still get the extra points please?0 -
Ugh, my makeup mirror is broken! It was a little lighted Revlon mirror, and something fell off the wall, knocked it off my desk, and knocked the mirrors off both sides. So now I really do *need* the no7 mirrors that were cancelled from my order! Rotten luck.
I may go in-store and try to buy a no7 mirror using the two different electrical vouchers. Does anyone know when the 19.99 sale ends on mirrors?
Also, how do you use coupons with a self-scan till? Many thanks!0
