I wasn't sure they would actually arrive as the delivery email took days to come through - only got it this morning and then the delivery came today too. One very happy bunny here. Thanks to all on the thread who make the effort to post all these deals. Really do appreciate it.

Why take it back at all if you got it for free?

Would make a nice gift or charity shop donation perhaps?

Thing is though I don't see it as being free as when I buy something on 342 i consider price per item by dividing by 3. Also I donate considerable (well, as much as I can afford anyhow) amounts of money to charity each month as there are a couple of charities that are close to my heart but I cannot afford to spend money and then think "oh it's ok that I don't have a need for this - I'll just give it to charity". I know alot of the ladies on this thread do alot for/give alot to charity but other than the bargains i pick up very low cost I cannot afford to do that on top of the money I donate.

I don't have anybody to give the ones I want to return to as gifts.

My sister was meant to be having around half of the stuff I ordered but changed her mind so now I'm left with it. They may have been bargains but if I have spent £50 on half the amount it doesn't seem so good anymore.

If it comes to it I guess I will have to sell them on ebay - I would just rather not have the bother.

  • How many spares do you have? You could always see if there any fellow Bootsaholics near to you that would want to meet in a neutral (safe) place somewhere (a coffee shop?) and buy one/some from you? I know not everybody that wanted one could get one. Hth x

At the bottom of the .com page under 'Our Services' you will find quickshop. Just put the code of the items you want to buy and hit go! :D
Sometimes if somethings out of stock putting the item number into Quickshop lets you order it. HTH

I've noticed quite a few posts recently from peeps asking for info on how to return the mirrors they got for 'free' for a refund. If anyone in bedfordshire/herts has one they want to get rid of, I'd be willing to buy it off you, as I was refused the glitch in my local store:(

Louby and redballoon, I think giving the unwanted mirrors to charity is an excellent idea:D Perhaps peeps who got 3, but only want one could keep one, sell one and give the 3rd one to charity. Just a suggestion:D

Yes, but the thing is if you had bought one it would have cost you £19.99 (less any vouchers). But due to glitch you got 3 for the same price. If you return these 2 then I would think they will charge you the price you would have paid just for one, ie you won't get anything back.

All 3 of mine have homes to go to!
Will bear MSE'ers in mind though if one of the recipients no longer wants it! ;)

If anyone has trouble returning a mirror then keep your receipt and then I guess Boots would have to refund 1/3 of the actual price you paid.
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

    Yeah, maybe.
If only I'd have bought the mirrors - I'd have had people kicking my door down wouldn't I?
    I have a 2xmanicure set, 2x eyelash curlers, 1 massager, and a pedicure set.

*also i have got a coupon for an extra 300 points for no7 radiance revealed concealer so if anybody is interested in it then please pm me - i can pop it in the post in the next couple of days*
