Oooh, I wish this would flamin' work for me. I get horrendous spots on my forehead (probably to do with my crisp fetish!). Which kind of toothpaste are you meant to use? Normal? Whitening? Microcrystals? I've tried all 3 and none worked! HELP!

I get the odd spot when pregnant (but extremely big nasty ones) and I find the best thing to get rid is perfume/aftershave - I think the alcahol (or maybe something else) kills all the bacteria or something - I don't really know but it works for me.

What a great excuse to go to boots and use a couple of fragrance vouchers :rotfl:

  • I see a lot of you had received your electrical parcels and as I had an email saying mine had been dispatched I checked HDN tracking and it said delivered to my local depot yesterday and another entry that said carryover. Does anyone know what means as I was not out at all yesterday so could not of missed him, anyway lunch time is his normal delivery time.

I spoke to CS yesterday as my card keeps loosing my 60+ discount. The lady at the No7 counter scanned it back on on saturday and when he checked it was not showing again so he said as my card was one of the first ones issued it was quite old so he aksed me to have a new one sent out which will take 2-3 weeks and the other one has been stopped now but my points will be transfered to the new one and he is going to add on 1000 points for my trouble. What I would like to know is would it be okay to use my husbands card without him being there as I have started to do my christmas shopping? CS did say to keep my receipts and I could have them added on when my new card comes but I would rather use my husbands card if that is okay as he never hardly uses it himself.

Hi as far as I can remember carryover on HDN means that there wasn't enough room on the van for your delivery, HDN are only allowed to do this once so your goods should be delivered on the next working day. HTH

I always used normal colgate, or aquafresh, the mintier the better. when i was in my teens (10 yrs ago) they never had whitening etc available so not sure how they would work. have you tried a dab of Tea tree oil? I use loads of this stuff for spots, cuts, grazes etc. and all of the above can be purchased at Boots :D

I got some Brita Cartridges for £3 the other day but got the wrong ones. Took them back to a different Boots and had lost the receipt and they refunded me £12 - but had to have it in goods. Was really shocked by this and did not do it on purpose as had genuinely lost the receipt. Has anyone seen the brita Maxtra cartridges reduced anywhere though?
I am really missing Boots as am at college full time now so get very green with envy when I finally get to log on this time of the night and Boots is closed!!!

I got a pack of 3 in Woolworths the other day marked on the box at £9 were supposed to be £12.50. Boots are also doing buy one get one half price at the mo. Im always on the look out for reduced filters so will let you know if I get them.

I always use my husband's card and it's never been questioned :D. I suppose an eagle eyed SA could notice (and 1 or 2 have with me but if they have I just say it's my husband's) and kick up a fuss but it's never happened to me.
