  • clare-t & Mrs BB well done on the finds...shame I was playing catchup ( on 2 threads) and missed them ! ( don't really need either though! )
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

  • Don't be silly, you're not a pain :)

Well, when I check out, I do what you do and click the box next to paypal, then I get a paypal login screen, then I login, and it comes up with

    Account XXXXXXXX

    Amount to pay XXXXXX

Etc, so I'm not sure you are doing anything wrong, I have a feeling it maybe a problem with .com as a lot of people are having probs checking out lately, is there no way you can pay by credit card or debit card? Then transfer the money from your paypal account into your bank account?

Thanks for that - I can be quite dizzy at times so I wasn't sure if i was just being dim :D

No, I can't justify it at the moment - had alot of unexpected expenses this month and the shop I want to do is for a pushchair so it's for £150. My husband has said we can either transfer the money and order next week or wait till payday (just over a week away) so it isn't the end of the world - I was just going to order some baby bits and pieces whilst i was at it which would have saved me carrying it home but never mind.

    Thanks again for your help.

And me! But only on this thread. I don't know where the other thread is. Anyway next time...................in the meantime can someone help with Boots Com. I went on after all the items for this glitch had gone but if I'd just been looking on the site I can't see where these extra points on the lancome is advertised, which means I could be missing out on others:rolleyes: You use to be able to go into offers and it would list all the offers available I can't see that on the new site or am I missing something?
Btw if you put things in your basket and then don't check out can you save them for next time? Thinking of xmas here

Edit - Seen the Lancome advert, it's on a rolling advertisement thingy
Look after the pennies and the £££s will look after themselves

    Im very unhappy.....
I seem to always miss out on the bloomin' glitches.

Me too, i really dont connect with this dot com malarky, i had trouble loading the page first then when i finally did, i managed to put 2 of the sharpeners in my basket, but someone came and took one of them out right before my very eyes!!! LOL, which left me with only 1, (i assume the last 1 in stock) but it still showed as still having 1008 points for the 1 single sharpener, but was charging me for a gift box too, by the time i sussed out to get rid of the gift box, i had accidently got rid of the last remaining sharpener too...
I am now left wondering, if i had carried on with the transaction for just the 1 sharpener, would i have still got the 1008 points?
I did go and try doing it again, but this time, it only recognised that i had bought 1 and only gave me 8 points, so shut it down in the end and toddled off up to my local up the road to try out the 17 Voucher............ WHAT A DISASTER!! I picked up a pack of 17 wipes, the lipstick and an eye liner........ along with a thomas the tank toy to keep GS amused (2.99).
Handed over the 17 voucher which didnt scan so the SA had to input it manually, (numerous times) i kept telling her, "it does work bcoz a friend did it in town only yesterday". Finally the till says i owe £9 odd, i queried this, so she calls for the Manageress who over rides the till and still £9 odd to pay, she then calls for the Manager by this time, 8pm, the doors to the store were locked, all the Sa`s were gathered around the till waiting to go home when the manager comes, who tries again and then says that it cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer including 3 4 2 , so again i tell them a friend had done it yesterday, one of the other Sa`s mentioned that she had taken a voucher which also didnt scan so the customer left it... Anyway, to cut a long story short, i ended up leaving all the products behind as GS was becoming inpatient by this time, went outside to the car and putting GS in his car seat, i placed his toy on the roof of car, only to forget all about it and drove off ........ needless to say, i remembered when i got home what i had done when he asked for it, i have just driven back there, to find it totally smashed up in the middle of the road............ Just not my night tonight ladies, ya win some, ya lose some i guess...... LOL

  • First time I've been on for ages (I was spending waaay too much time on here, lovin' all the chat!, I had to stop ).
I guess this has probably been done to death, so please delete if needed -
I noticed that the Health Club stuff is still 20% off AND half price -

    Boots Complete A-z Tablets 250
    - come down from £11.99 to £3.59. I'll post the list of items, 'cause I couldn't get it to come up on .com, had to search it out elsewhere. Might be of use to top up .com orders? Most of it is still in stock, except the sensitive washing stuff.
Oh, and the bottle pumps were still working for the 750 points... £41.98 and 1414 points, but shan't succumb, because it's nothing I want, all boring!
Love to all, looks like I've missed some upheavals, hope it all works out - you're such a friendly, caring lot.
