Tesco have taken THREE payments out of my bank, and neither myself nor my friend have received an e-mail from them. What can I do?
  • My gift to myself was supposed to start yesterday - used one email to gift myself on another email account. I received emails to both accounts - the giving and receiving ones - but can't login to get access to DVD rental. Emailed and phoned support lines but no joy - they keep giving me new passwords. The error messages I get indicate that the system is confused by me already having an account (becasuse I used my two emails to gift backwards and forwards) but that it's not 'live' yet.
    Still no joy.

I'm also worried about the issue of gift certificates continuing if not all DVDs are returned on time. I did give some of these subscriptions as gifts but I can't control my friends returning DVDs in time - what if they don't? I get charged again? I like them.... but not that much!

Anybody have any ideas or solutions?

  • My understanding, after emailing Tesco, is that the recipient of the gift has to give their credit card details. So if they are late in returning the DVD's or forget to cancel the subscription on time their credit card will be charged.
