Hi, don't know if is the right forum but I wonder if someone could help...
I've seen that Somerfield/Kwiksave are doing an offer on the Daewoo DR2100P DVD Recorder where it's £89.99 (and Curry's might actually be doing it for £79.99). Information can be found here: http://www.daewoo-electronics.co.uk/gb/products/av_dvd_dvdrecorder.htm however I've been unable to find anything else because I think it's a recent model.
Does anyone else have any experience of Daewoo DVD recorders / players, and would you recommend buying it for this price?

I think I've read, on this site, that ASDA were doing one for £69."Some say the cup is half empty, while others say it is half full. However, this is skirting around the issue. The real problem is that the cup is too big."0

Yes, I remeber that post and it was in Martin's weekly e-mail last week, but is it a dual format recorder?
Does anyone have any experience of Daewoo DVD recorders in general?0 -
Have a Daewoo TV in the flat. Works fine. It's a proper brand name Korean product.
Know nothing more than that about this machine.0 -
This is on sale at £59.99 at my local Sumerfield. It is dual format recording on DVD + & - and DVD - & + RW discs. seems easy to set up and picture quality is good, simple to change to multi region as well, took me the whole of 2 seconds to do that. You need to finalise the DVD +/- & RW- before playing on another DVD & make compatable the RW+, strangely you can only finalise a RW- thus locking it forever to view on another player, but thats a small burden to bare. Most iv not all the other features are available, it does not play DivX discs though. So not bad at the price.0
