Sky broadband not working

Anybody having problem with sky this evening? I spent ages trying to connect and after ringing their expensive number, I was told there is a problem with the network. When I used to be with BT, there was a free number I could ring to find whether the problem is with the network. I asked CS about it but he did not understand what I meant.

i had trouble to nite but i rebooted my router and it seems fine now0

If you are on sky talk the calls are free to the Sky 08442 support numbers, if not it's approx 5p per min I believe. There is no number that gives current outage issues.0

Over on skyuser the following exchanges were reported as being down.
