Ive just managed to book my car in at my local Nationwide for a half price MOT using the discount code off myvouchercodes.com...you'll have to be quick though as it expires on 31st July!! Fingers crossed it passes!!:T0

The cheapest place i have had my MOT was in Strood Kent at Mr Clutch. They done it for £21 and it passed no failures. I dont think you have to have work done there if it does fail either. cheap as chips.0

I have just booked my car in for MOT through Nationwide Autocentres. They are currently offering 50% off, so I am booked in for £27 - hopefully a bargain. You have to book in online and have only found the link to the deal via google search - can't find the deal on the Nationwide website alone. As a new user to this site, I am unable to post the link. But if you google "MOT" the link to the Nationwide Autocentres 50% deal should come up within the top part of the results page.
Of course this deal isn't restricted to South of England, but Nationwide.
Hope you too can save some money. :T
Lastly - not forgetting you can use your Tesco Clubcard vouchers for part/full payment with Nationwide Autocentres but on the full price of £54. £10 of tesco vouchers quadruple up to £40 reward vouchers plus £14 of your own money.0 -
Just MOTs Worthing is super excellent.
The car failed the MOT on a bulb, they changed the bulb, retested immediately to pass it without asking me.
They just told me afterwards.
I know a bulb is very minor, but still car did fail, they had to do minor job & quick retest to get car through.0 -
In Maidenhead, it's worth checking the local paper (Maidenhead Advertiser) and looking in the motoring services section. Most of the garages locally seem to offer some sort of deal, with a wide range of prices - from £26 up to £40 when I last looked, some attached to a servicing offer. Mr Clutch had a voucher to exchange for a £26 MoT.Cheers,
