Yes indeed, which is why i have avoided them untill almost 21 years of age
I live my life by only spending what i have, and i preach at others for not doing the same.
But the time has come that i need a creditcard and the time may come where i spend more than my secure income for that month, but then everything will hault untill paid for. (xmas would be a good example here)
I think i made a mess up with the electoral register thing.
All of my ID (drivers licence passport etc) and my current bank account are held at a old house which my still family owns, although is empty. We live in another house near by and i have never moved my things over.
I think i am on the electoral register for this current house but i applied using our old house address (as i have no ID showing our real current address)
I applied for a currenct account 2 years ago and becuase i had no ID with our current address they refused me (and then sent me out the debit cards etc two months later anyway!) so i pretty much always give our old address as our current address as its handy to just nip over every few days to collect the post..
I also have a 2 year old car registered in my name for the new address which i dont know if they can see...
I must sound like a fraudster !
Heading into a complex mess0
