looking for one of these as alternative to iPod mini,
anyone got one?
I've heard good reviews and seen them priced at £169.99 at amazon
are there any deals around that could get me one cheaper?

Price on US EBay site is $225-$240. Add on VAT and postage and risk etc .

That price you have looks pretty good.

I've just found one HERE for £184 with a free extra battery and a pricematch offer, when I emailed them to ask them to pricematch amazon they said
Unfortunately, in this instance we are unable to meet or beat the price that you have been offered, but I would like to draw your attention to 3 unique advantages of purchasing your MP3 player from Advanced MP3 Players.
Included in our price is next day courier shipment to UK mainland addresses.
Customer support – in addition to a web based customer support service we have a team of trained support staff to help you with any problems, software conflicts or even just provide you with guidance and advice to ensure you get the most out of your MP3 player.

  • The Creative Zen Touch is £169.99 on Amazon, and that 20gb.

Aesthetically I think the Zen Micro is the nicer looking item, but in terms of £/gb the Touch is by far better value for money.

the micro would easily hold enough for my daughters use, approx 1200 tracks, and reason I like it is because it comes with a replaceable battery
