Our first proper snow here, i think it's stopped now but it's pitch black outside so I can't see properly.
Early in work today, i'm sleeepy. I was meant to be going to a pub for dinner with the mister today but we've decided to get a bag of chips, some shandy and head home to the fire instead. Plus it's a good £15 cheaper.
Sold any more books Dinah?0 -
Lol it's lovely to know we can traumatise anyone who dares to read this thread!
2 hours 35 mins it took this morning to get to work, usually takes 45mins. My collegue who does the same route still isnt here (i took a long 'short cut' which was less jammed up) so he's now at at least 3 hours. Think I should be allowed to go home on a snow day!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Yikes, that sounds horrible!! I was so glad I don't / can't drive this morning, driving into the snow it was playing tricks with my eyes and I felt quite un easy!!
Trying to think of a bright side to the rubbish weather but I can't think of any. The snow is grey horrible already and I keep on slipping when I go out the office. Bleh.0 -

Morning all, 2 and half hours is shocking, only took me about 10 mins longer than usual and that was only because I was driving like a granny and annoying everyone else. But I don't care, they were all going far too fast for the conditions. Hmph. Just hope I can get home OK tonight, and that it's ok by Sunday so I can get my plane to Prague!!

He was meant to be wearing nothing but leg warmers? I was picturing him in a blue boiler suite tucked in to neon pink leg warmers!no wonder I thought people were over reacting :rotfl:
Right so Sunday we need clear weather, and Monday we need it to be like a snowy hell. Best get on the better side of the weather man!0
