    Morning all.

I managed to call at the supermarket on the way home last night and bought bits for lunches. Managed to bring in lunch and have dinner prepared.

Still need to buy a small flask though so may do that this lunchtime.
  • Hello...

I managed most things on yesterday's list so here's today's....

Brought in lunch (although may be taking clients out for lunch - only brought pot noodle type thing and fruit so can have it another day)
Will make tea from storecupboard and stuff that needs using up in the fridge and make a bit extra to have for lunch tomorrow
Will phone Next - forgot/couldn't be bothered yesterday!:o
Will do the little pile of ironing while OH watches footie to say thankyou for buying me Steve Coogan tickets yesterday - lovely OH!
    Have a NSD
Have brought 2 cans of Diet Pepsi in from home rather than paying 60p each from the machine
Check banking (all payments made yesterday have gome through and I can now finalise the budget for the month)
Do expenses in work to claim back mobile bill

That's all I can think of for now!
    Have a good day...

I have to buy some bio oil today, so that's a NSD up the creek!

Do you have Wilkisons near you? Buy their own brand bio oil - resue oil. It's £1.99 and it is AMAZING! If it can sort my stretchmarks (looked like I had flames tatooed on my stomache :o ) it can sort anything! They have virtually disappeared and I've only been using it a couple of weeks.
  • hello all, welcome back sophiesmum :A

    today I have
    • brought in breakfast and lunch
    • tried to pay a chunk off my credit card but HSBC haven't cleared the rent deposit cheque I paid in on Saturday even though it's displaying in my balance (they have said they pay interest from monday when I queried it! Woooooohoo 0.1% steady on!)
    • been plotting money making ideas and sent an email to volunteer to do tax returns and another one for a focus group paying £60, hope I get it!
    • checked both banking and updated sheet as i had made a small error in my favour (sounds like monopoly :D )
    and I will
    • live off £15 until payday next friday - that's my challenge! got food in and abel and cole deliveries both fridays so let's see if i can :T best get some nsds planned in!

    hi everyone,

I've been away a wee while but I'm dropping back in.
I've not been as good as I thought I would be on my own... Not as many NSDs and the like when I'm not writing it down here and "keeping score"

I figured it was a good idea to come back and get motivated again before christmas.

    Today I have/will-

    store cupboard meals
run my washing machine overnight when the electricity is cheaper
    LowSD
cleaning with stardrops (How good is stardrops by the way?!)

I am currently going back through my wardrobe. Much of it hasn't been worn since I moved to my flat 6 months ago (Much of it wasn't even unpacked... shame on me!) I don't even have a lot of clothes to start with compared to most of my friends.
I am hoping to get out of the typical 20%/80% rule that many of us are in by wearing 20% of my wardrobe 80% of the time... (or maybe 90% currently...) This is going to mean a lot of washing, freshening, and general mending. I'm going to become queen of sewing on buttons and sewing hems up.

This shall continue this evening around the time I have to be out. I am training to become a Samaritans volunteer.

Right, back to work so I keep the job I've got! (very MSE of me)

I'm back, and this time I mean business!
If you need to talk to someone confidentially call Samaritans on 08457 90 90 90 or email jo@samaritans.org
My heart knows me better than I know myself so I'm going to let it do all the talking.

Afternoon all, very glad to see you back Sophiesmum. Didn't post earlier as i went too work too early before the thread started, so i was about:D

Am back at work, so am feeling a bit better, however am a little dissapointed as it was my first proper counselling class today, but am still not well enough to go into college for six hours plus do 40mins on the motorway each way. So have been sensible and phoned to let them know i won't be coming:rolleyes:

Other than that, my things for today:
-I have been to work to earn some pennies!!
-I have put some pennies in my payment a day challenge
-I have done a mystery shop
-I have spoken to work about me starting my work related courses, which is great!! Just heard back from them again and i need to fill in a form but work will pay for me to do this nvq and because of my experience i may be able to do the level 3 rather than the level 2.
-I have eated food from store cupboards
-I need to cancel a mystery shop in a mo, as not well enough to do it
-I'll email second job to confirm going in tomorrow instead of yesterday
-Have sorted out all advertising material to give to friends

-Will look for a matched bet
-Have picked up one mystery shop
-Will continue looking for more shops
-I will work on my website
    -Sort through emails
    -Do any surveys
-Read some of my counselling books
    -Type up mystery shopping report
-Sort out all mystery shops for tomorrow
-Place some money in bookies for my new matched bets
-Look at items to list on ebay - Have listed some stamps, courtesy of mystery shops!!
-Do some boring household jobs, seeing as no one else ever does!!
    -Check online banking
-Sort through any more of my financial papers
-Have also been in touch with the place that supplies us with foreign students and they want to know if we would be happy to have two students soon as our flatmate is running out, which is fab news for us!!
-Have also emailed someone back who has two more audits for me, which is also great!!
    -Update spreadsheets and challenges
-Write all mystery shops in diary so i know where i am and where i can pick up extra work.

Have a great afternoon everyone and even better evening.

Thank you mbaz, I've not heard of it, but I'm willing to try it. I've asked one of my tribe to pick a bottle up for me at lunchtime.
I had a really bad accident last year, I managed to turn myself inside out  Unfortunately, it's left me looking a little like a badly drawn road map. I find the oil eases the tightness of the scarring and takes out a little of the redness.

Not really in the mood today now to do things guys! I really want my own place but i just cant afford to right now.

    Tallie

Know how you feel Talle, i especially noticed how much i'd like a place for just me and the OH since i've been ill, when the only thing you want to do is curl up on the sofa and watch carp tv and do nothing. But thats not possible in my house, with our flatmate who loves the telie and a foreign student, its our own choice, but we have to have people live with us so we can afford for me to work part time and in order to pay the bills.

However i did watch the secret millionaire programme last night and it was great, that guy was so motivated, i thought i'd met my soul mate:rotfl:
He has visual pictures of all his goals and he looks at them each morning to keep him focused and motivated. He had them on the computer, as a type of screen saver, it really seemed to work and am very tempted to do it myself:o, perhaps you could give it a go.

Now if my motivational speech and idea hasn't given you the kick up the bum you need, nothing will:rotfl:

And you say i inspire you piquant! Your accident sounds nasty and anyone who can pick themselves up after a bad accident and create some normality in their lives, never mind battle dfw stuff is an inspiration in my eyes:T
