THEY do it all the time..i bet there is no other viewing today as well..They still think its 2007It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -

Potential buyer: Don't you know that property prices are dropping faster than any time in history and I have a right to buy the house for whatever I want? [/quote]
Hmmm, I don't think a buyer has a right to buy someone elses property for whatever price they see fit.0 -

Looking on houseprices it seems the other buyer paid considerably more than my offer, they paid the full asking price. I'd imagine the estate agent told them my offer was higher than it was. I can't think why else someone would pay the full asking price in the current market. After the uprising of the 17th June The Secretary of the Writers Union
Had leaflets distributed in the Stalinallee Stating that the people
Had forfeited the confidence of the government And could win it back only
By redoubled efforts. Would it not be easier In that case for the government
To dissolve the people
And elect another?0 -

Oh Fatpig I have missed your sarcastic one liners for a while now.A retired senior partner, in own agency, with 40 years experience in property sales & new build. In latter part of career specialising in commercial - mostly business sales.0 -
I am convinced this was done to me when we bought and I fell for it
In hindsight, property had been on the market for 5 months so 2 buyers coming along at once is a bit unrealistic. Wish I'd been paying more attention to this board back then!!!Kavanne
