Great. I've signed up. "Thread has been viewed 33645 times" - so if a large % of those viewers have signed up in just 2 days, that's just MSE's ! Pass the details on to all in your address book, and say about 10 of those sign up, that's about 300,000 !
Only question - we're not going to buy more fuel are we, so what's the advantage to the retailer/wholesaler ?? - why the discount ?0 -

If we are buying from a retailer then yes we are likely to be buying more from THEM i.e. we will all be queing up outside Tesco's (or whichever company is offering the deal) for the cheap fuel. If a wholesaler is involved possibly not. Before you buy Google Nest or British Gas Hive check out ESPproMon the Android and iOS Smartphone app that helps you build the same system from just £30.0 -
I'm registered, thanks0

On a similar line of thought, the prices on the pumps now are so variable that you never know when you are getting the best deal, and the retailers are exploiting this to their advantage If all the subscribers to this site fed in their local petrol prices to a central database and a simple search engine was set up (cheapest petrol price checker) then we could play them at their own game.0
