Hi there
Just happen to see your thread. Firstly there are loads of people in your position with some kind of debt. I felt the same last year when I lost my partner, but apart from other organisations I would reccomend National Debt-line who are brill over the phone and will ease your mind and take you through a budget sheet which you can print off, they will also try to guide you with any problems you may ask, or if you prefer one-2-one try your local CAB they are also useful, so please stop worrying and wish you the best of luck.

Hi Everyone...
I have posted a SOA. not 100% sure if all expenses are listed, still taking stock.
The idea of the totals are not pleasant reading..
I cannot get rid of the car due to work, and also my wifes failing health, i do not drink or smoke... and am locked into the mobile contracts for another 10 months.
My only release is the satelight tv, but only have the bare minimum i can have.
Any ideas will be greatly welcomed, thanks#95 1p challenge =£667.95 1p challenge=£667.95 Reverse 1p challenge=£667.95 Reverse 1p challenge=£667.95 £1 weekly challenge =£1378 £2 a day challenge=£730 £1 a day Xmas challenge=£365Mortgage £141k..... As your wife is in poor health and isn't working (is that right?), is she claiming any benefits?
Aso how many animals do you have and is their feed costs included in your grocery total?"carpe that diem"0 -
Hi Droopyk,
It doesn't look like there is anything extravagant in your budget - the only suggestion I have is maybe contacting your mobile supplier to see if they can put you on a slightly cheaper tariff, without cancelling the contract?
Also, please consider giving one of the debt charities a call (CCCS, CAB or National Debtline.)
And finally, I don't care how much you owe - your life is so much more important than any debts you have.
Take care and good luck.

I've added some ideas in red, but really you need to find a way to get your income up, either by extra work or finding out if your wife's ill health entitles you to any benefits. If you are caring for her as well as working you might be entitled to something. this is beyond my knowledge but there will be others on this board who will know.font=courier new]Statement of Affairs and Personal Balance Sheet

Steel- Thought we were the only ones cutting each others hair, I had it cut into a straight bob about 2 years ago and hubby just gives it a straight trim with the shaver every few months.
I also do the kids as well. We are 2 adults, 3 kids and live on around £50-£60 at most per week for food/drink.
Get over to old style boards and start cooking from scratch for yourselves
loads cheaper and healthier.
Good luck

Like I have stated in my previous thread I would either give a debt charity a call like National Debt-line or call into your local CAB and they will try and help you, because you are not alone, there are people in the same position as you. Best of luck

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Like others have said I would definately look into seeing if you are entitled to any benefits or help of any sort as your wife is unable to work due to illness.Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712
