10past6 Firefox is a good internet browser and has addons which can help with security the no script addon prevent certain restriction of a web site for loading up which can be useful. It also has a form filler as addon and spell checker.

Though is that really Google's fault and not your browser's fault or security's fault?
Don't know I'm afraid, my Mcafee was set to default, but it never picked it up, I only found it it was hijacked because no matter what site I requested, it would only go to one site.

The hosts file is a computer file used to store information on where to find a node on a computer network. This file maps hostnames to IP addresses. The hosts file is used as a supplement to (or instead of) the domain name system on networks of varying sizes. Unlike DNS, the hosts file is under the control of the local computer's administrator.

Hi, thx, I just clicked on download within that libk, and it said this:

    Please read carefully

    Unverified submission.
Only install applications from developers you trust. This is a third-party application, and it could access your computer's files, show you objectionable content, or change its behavior at any time.

Is it safe for me to d/l it?

I think I can use that link on my viata machine, can I not use it my XP machine? I''ve no idea what a bat file is.

Default mode is fine. Advanced is for advanced users who want to play about with seeing all the options.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!
(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)
