  • I save all loose coins in a big Bells Whisky bottle.i emptied it last week as it was full.In 12 months i have saved £399.Very useful for an Emergency Fund.
  • I went round the house at the weekend and seem to have quite a bit in my tin now. Going to empty it at intervals and then put it into one of spare bank accounts so that I can see it adding up, plus think if I see it at intervals growing I will be more likely to keep it up.

  • I've been doing this for the past couple of years - about 6 months ago I spent all the 20p, 50p, £1 and £2 coins (around £400  ) but I think there is plenty in there still , the box is around 30 kilos :rotfl: will get around to counting it some day :j
