Loose Change Challenge!

Every Friday put all your loose change from your purse/pockets/etc into a pot to save up and see how much you have at the end of the month!

I am saving loose change in 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p, 20p,and 50p's. You can follow me or you can do it your own way

I will add change to my pot now (I already have some in there) and I will put in more on Friday if I have any.

Ok I am now putting in: 31p!

Anyone want to join in?

Good luck! Me and my boyfriend have been doing this for 2 months and have got just over £56 in our tub. I'd join it but it seems like I'm at an unfair advantage!!

I'll join in - I save any 1ps, 2ps and 5ps - I just started a couple of weeks ago. I'm not sure how much I've got in there I don't want to look I want to keep it going as long as I can till the box I am using is full up then I'll count it!

Go for it! The more the merrier! I already have at a guess around £20. Someone will always have more than someone else :rotfl:

Count me in, I need to get going. Will count up my change bag tonight and post. I have 20p in my purse to go in when I get home.:o

I will join in on this. I tend to empty most of the change out of my purse each morning at 10am for the make a payment a day challenge, but could start a tin at home. I can then empty purse on Sunday of all I have collected over weekend ie any nights out etc, and any cash I find round the house at the weekend. Then at end of month can make an extra payment.

I'll count up how much I've got when I get home tonight and add it to my siggy. I know this is sad, but I got very excited yesterday when I found 2 x 20p pieces at the bottom of my bag!! Unfortunately my OH was playing snooker last night and needed them for the lights meter!!
