£10 bonus and then £16.50 for signing up to Tesco telecom. I was unsure how it worked so I e-mailed them. They said I could be paid in cheque, vouchers (boots and M&S) or a e-voucher for Amazon. They said I would normally have to wait until the trial period finished for Tesco, but as it said approved and it was Christmas they sent me the e-voucher. Already spent!!!

Thanks for this £2.50 for Tesco's Groceries is Great for me :T I do a weekly on- line shop so over the year I will get £130 on that alone . I think a nomination for the post of the month January might be coming up0

edeals give you £2 cashback when you sign up for the 30-day free trial with Credit Expert (Experian)
You can/should cancel the Credit Expert trial during the 30 day trial period. I know that this is easy to do - they even have a special option (3) on their 0800 customer service number for cancellations, and they don't ask any questions when you cancel.
Not entirely sure whether edeals credit the £2 instantly, though (and the site seems to have collapsed under the load just right now)

That sounds brilliant!! The site's up again for me now, so I think I'll give those other trials a try - there are some pretty amazing amounts on offer. Must be a catch somewhere.......0 -

I expect that this is causing the delay.Reassuringly expensive0 -
I was interested to see this cashback site - especially as I have recently switched most of my www shopping through Quidco! As a matter of interest I looked at both sites to see what they offer for cashback - based on the sites I used most frequently (1st No is Quidco, 2nd is edeals):
Boots: 4.5%; 2.5%
Currys: 2.0%; 1.5%
CDWow: 4%; 2.0%
Dell: 5.5-6.5%; 1.5%
Tesco Groceries: £5; £2.50
Tesco Wine: 2.5%; 1.0%
I know this is a extremely limited sample - but in every case Quidco offers a better rate!0 -
That's most interesting, fbrj! I must have a closer look at Quidco then, especially since they don't have a minimum payout limit.
For those who have already bought via edealsUK: I found the following in their FAQ, so may be email them and ask for delivering on their promise!
What is your “Maximum Cash back” Promise?
Basically it is a bit like a price match. We promise to offer all our members the maximum cash back compared to other websites, we check our cash back rates regularly to fulfil this promise. If you find someone else is offering more cash back, we will match it!
Simply send an email to pricematch@eDealsUK.com.
All we ask for is the website you are comparing us with should be established for more than 12 months, and the membership is open to general public in UK.0 -
I am a member of both the sites. I think (Martin says elsewhere on the site that you have to be a big spender £500+ a year or more to benefit from quidco rates) you have to spend a lot to make up on the £5 they charge a year.
You dont pay £5 a year out of your cashback on edeals but pay the first £5 you earn a year to quidco.
You get joining bonus (usually £5, with the promotion going on £10) on edeals and refer a friend bonus. ..which you dont get on quidco.
For instance, when I joined edeals UK, I got £10 and have been referring friends aswell and have a fair bit of referral cash coming up. :j
I wouldve had to have earned more than £15 (the referral bonus + the £5 quidco takes out of your account per year) to have any benefit from the quidco rates.
I tried an email to edeals to pricematch. They replied saying they can match cashback sites which offer incentives and pay you welcome bonus and not the sites which charge you every year. Fair enough. I guess you cant call them same.
Both are great sites to save money..it depends on how much you spend and if youve got any friends to refer! One thing is sure, it is silly shopping directly with the retailers when you can earn cashback with these sites. :beer:0 -

Thanks for a well balanced comment - I guess it all depends one ones spending patterns. It just so happened that in my case my first use of a cashback site was when I made quite a substantial purchase from dell ....though quidco... and therefore "recovered" my £5 immediately and have just continued to use them. Having both accounts means that you have got the position well covered!0
