It looks like a lot of hotels have realised that Robbie is in town and have racked up their prices, have been looking for people who are going to see him in Leeds and are having similar problems, lots of hotels full already, with those left being very expensive.
I've done a search on https://www.hotelscomparison.com for Glasgow on the 1st and it didn't return very much. Do you want to be in Central Glasgow or are you prepared to stay in the outskirts/at the airport?0 -
Are you trying to book online? Just did a search of that comparison site and its pretty expensive.
You might be better searching Yell and finding some of the local guest houses. Plenty in-and-around the West End/Glasgow University area. Or even try phoning the Universities to see if they have accomodation free at that time.0 -

Thank you for your quick replies, think we need to be in central Glasgow, or even near Hampden Park and it would be nice to be in a 4 star, I don't get many treatsTitch

It's going to be tricky.
Just Tried Hilton (Full), Holiday Inn (Central Hotels Full), and Marriott (£145 "Special Event Rate").
On Expedia there is nothing central with 4 rooms available for less thn £200 per room.0 -
no availability eitherTitch

How about a travel inn? The Black Bear is used by many companies when their staff are in the Glasgow area as it's one of the better ones...http://www.beefeater.co.uk/textonly/showhouse.asp?house=168Don’t be a can’t, be a can.0
