Looks genuine enough to me, OP.
  • If you applied to The Fondation De France for a grant recently then it could possibly be legit.

Otherwise it is 100% a scam to con you out of your personal details and an upfront "processing fee" to get the non-existent grant.

Someone sent you an email out of the blue....... and you think it is for your benefit!!!!

Go for it OP, must be your lucky day!!

Jeez, I hope this is :spam: and someone isn't this backward.
  • If it was real, don't you think the reply address would be xxx@fdf.org rather than a webmail address?

If it was real, there would be fewer spelling and grammar errors ("probablylike" lol) and the grants would probably be given in euros not dollars.

It's a scam, delete and block. Or report it to FDF if you want to alert them to it.

Can you imagine how cluttered this site would get if everyone started a thread about every email they received about scams like this? I'd start about 20 a day myself.

Why can't people just bin them, instead of having to ask if they're genuine, have I really won, should I report this to the police/trading standards, etc?

I seriously wonder how these people get through every day without serious incident, if they can't recognise such an obvious thing as this.

    Nuff said :D
I would have used my own initiative if someone would have told me to!

Eeerm do you mean that the email I got, telling me that I had won the Spanish lottery or the mail I got from that nice man in Nigeria who wanted me to help him get all his millions out might not be genuine ?
