    This scam is very common and you'll find plenty of threads about it if you do a search of the forum.

    This is the thread detailing my experience:

    As you will see, I reported my scammer for failing to comply (ie asking to ship outside UK) and a false UK address (I also did a check on postcodefinder) and as it was so obviously a scam, eBay were quick to respond and booted him off within 24 hours. This made it easy to file a NPB dispute without having to wait the usual 7 days (on the grounds that they are no longer registered) and that was the end of it. ;)

    If you inform ebay that the buyer has used a fake address, they will imediately
    de register them, they will then be unable to leave you feedback. hope this helps
