Travelex do price match and have used travelex many times although never taken them up on price matching
I have had Travelex price match on a number of occassions. Normally order on line 2 or 3 days before departure (you need to give at least 2 days notice for an airport collection order) to pick up at Airport. I have either already checked or then immediately check the Thomas Exchange Global exchange rate (and anyone else who you think may offer better than Travelex, although I've always found Thomas the best) at http://www.thomasexchangeglobal.co.uk/postal.php. I email the link straight back to Travelex with my order ref, etc (there is a link on their site to do this). The refund cheque for the price difference has always arrived before I return home from my trip. Cannot fault Travelex on honouring their price promise or their service.
Today's (Tuesday 16 September 2008) Thomas Exchange Global Rate is 1.24 Euro's to the £.0 -

The Visa rate (what the banks use) is 1.26 at the moment so better than TEG which is usually the best rate quoted by an exchange shop. Check here:

shown73,
Marks and Spencer are usually poor eg 1.2135 at the moment. That's almost 35 Euros difference if the OP wants to change £750.0 -

But if you want cash the Thomas rate that I quoted and Travelex will price match for collection at the Airport if ordered on line was 1.24!
And, what we must all remember, is the rates we are/were quoting will fluctuate on a daily or more frequent basis. So, you pays your money and takes your choice at any given moment in time. It can go down as well as up!!!0 -
