Best rate i can find today for euro is 1.224, anyone know of a better offer??

where is 1.224? Travelex is less than that and is usually pretty good

The rate is at two local The Cheque Centre shops and Ramsdons.

i noticed that the travel exchange in my local shopping centre is offering that rate today, i had applied for the nationwide card but it hasnt come through, got till tomorrow so umming and ahhing whether to get my euros today at that rate or chancing it to see if card arrives tomorrow as was gonna load up my nationwide account

Why the nationwide card? do you get better rates?
