Fed Up!!!

I'm sick of the media reporting on the credit crunch too. But there are good things that have come out of it. Like all the advice on saving money.

I've just finished uni, couldn't be a worse time to find a job! But apart from the job front I don't know whether it's affected me that much in relation to money. Lifestyle's changed a lot because I'm doing everything I can to save money. I'm making my own bread, pizzas, scones. etc. If the credit crunch weren't happening I'd still be speding money on more expensive items.

Another plus side is I'm more aware of money matters, which is always good.

I am more than fed up, more than terrified and whilst I felt so upbeat about saving and clearing my debts as time goes on im really having to fight the urge to say sod it!

we live in one of the most developed countries in the world - its easy to compare with the joneses next door or the guy with the new car

however, think about real hardship - the 7 year old children forced into fighting in the congo etc and the atrocities in iraq etc - having a credit card bill is largely irrelevant

also if you have your health be thankful - there are many people with money in the bank who would give it all up to have their health

enjoy a walk or watching the tv tonight or what you are having for tea - if you were in jail/at war/in ill health you wouldn't be able to enjoy it
