Isn't Ryanair being discriminatory?

Come off it, you know what I'm on about - anyone who voices their concerns about the cost of Ryanair's 'extras' gets bashed down by you guys and shrieks of "groundhog day" spring up.0

We are all entitled to our opinion and just because it may differ from yours that doesn't make either person right or wrong. As far as shrieks of 'groundhog day' are concerned, I believe this is known as 'freedom of speech'.
As people have repeatedly said, if you don't like the T&C's - don't press the 'buy' button.
I have just realised that even my reply is a 'groundhog day' one of sorts. *yawn* time for bed said Zebedee :rotfl:0 -
i cant see any real difference with easyjet or ryanair when you book, its virtually identical along with the rest of the service
what is the real price?, do i want airport check in, or insurance , or bags, or visa payment, priority boarding/speedy boarding
with these options you cannot display the final price, with either site its all down to 30 seconds or more to find out
fuss about nothing, another non rip off0 -

Exactly my point - so why do some of you jump, like a rabid dog, on any poster who complains about Ryanair?
My feelings towards the company are quite neutral (I couldn't say the same about the CEO) but it's obvious that a lot of their practices could be described as controversial.
I think it might be a good idea if there could be a sub-forum created on the Travel board exclusively for Ryanair posts. There's certainly enought posts about them to justify it.0 -
Loved this thread, gave me a good laugh.
The important points are NEVER EVER assume anything with a budget airline.
They will try and fleece you on extras be prepared and if not fly a decent airline.
If you are stranded anywhere don't expect them to sort it out.
If flight its delayed then tough luck
Some are based overseas (notably Ryanair) so you have even less recourse.
Some still are flouting the rules on website pricing again Ryanair.
Do I like all these pitfalls? No I don't. Do I fly with them? Yes I do but I make sure I am on the ball dotting all the i's and crossing all the t's to make sure I protect myself as much as possible. I have learnt that moaning about them is a waste of time.0 -

In fairness, people jump down the throat of anyone who posts a duplicated post without first searching to see if the question etc's already been answered....This is why the OP was OK in his post, he had something different to say, but the general whiners...it's all been said before...
It's my understanding the idea of the forum isn't to have dozens of threads that are *slightly different* to start all end exactly the same way...This isn't quashing anyone's opinion, it's just trying to keep order on the site...There are plenty of "boo sucks to ryanair" threads if that's all people have to add on the topic...0 -
i'm gonna complain about dmg.... kellogs... pffft.... everyone should support british businesses, which weetabix is one, based in Burton Latimer, Kettering..
oooh ok.. i'm a weetabix geek.. my dad used to work for them for many years..
M
The thing about weetabix is that you do NOT see on the pack, "warning, this pack is sold by weight, not volume."
How sad am I , knowing the small print, or otherwise, on a cereal pack! :rolleyes:0 -
there are a few ryanair retards on this board, who rush to defend ryanair.Exactly my point - so why do some of you jump, like a rabid dog, on any poster who complains about Ryanair?

there are some 'whinge' posts for sure, but occasionally someone posts a genuine grievance and they're jumped on by 'rabid dogs' - as you say.
these 'dogs' know who they are.
a separate sub-board would prob. help.miladdo0
