Does anyone have a sure fire way of getting blue biro off leather?
A biro leaked in my handbag, and there are 2 patches on my pink leather filofax, and one on my pink leather Radley purse
I'm gutted! more about the filofax than the purse as I'm looking for a new purse anyway!
TIA

right, am making a south african potato and pea curry - should i do plain rice to go with it, or spicy chilli rice? Or pilau rice?
There is a lime and coriander recipe, but i only have lemon juice - would that work maybe? Help!A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

Does everyone eating this curry like curry? If you are in any doubt, please do NOT do spicy chilli ...
Personally I wouldn't think you would want too many strong flavours, but you're the foodie, and I'm not a curry eater. Not that fond of lime or coriander either - is it just me who finds that coriander tastes soapy? - so I shan't go there.

Went for pilau rice as I have made that before and I didn't want to contradict the tastes if that makes sense (so didnt know if cori and lime would clash with me curry). Then again, pilau could still clash..... ah well. Person has been ordered to eat, make the right noises and pretend they like it, regardless :rotfl:A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

Another question - does anyone write on their recipe books? I am forever making adaptations to ingredients and cooking times, but can't possibly remember each one. It also seems sacreligious to write on them, and postits stuck on a page would only serve the purpose up to a certain point.... Maybe i should post this in the book thread?A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men
