    Hi

I keep looking around the house thinking what i can get rid of next.

I also went for a browse in town and didn't want to buy anything as i didn't want to put it on my list.:o I did have to buy a key for Ds1 though so he can get in the house instead of waiting outside after school on the 2 days i'm picking Ds2 up from nursery. It's only 10 minutes but not nice if it's raining.

    So

    In
    1 key for Ds1

    Out
3 x Ds2's tops & a bib which are stained and have been washed and washed in the hope the stains will come out but probably wouldn't fit him anymore,:o
2 x carrier bags of stuff to the charity shop
1 pair of jeans sold on ebay

IN; Ballet dress & shoes from ebay
OUT: bag of clothes, 3 bags of rubbish from the living room & children's bedrooms. Lots of newspapers in the compost bin. & Hopefully a pushchair from my oldest son who is now 10, we kept it "just in case" lol. 3 younger children but it was never used for them.

Off to make a start on the kitchen so hopefully more to go out still.

Could you stitch on a block of fabric on to the bottom to make it a little longer?

either that or cut it maybe 10cm up from the bottom and insert it there then sew it all back together so it looks like it was made that way?;)

Thanks for the suggestion but its actually the length of the blind between its brackets. I'm going to have a rummage for some wood off-cut and just move the bracket in slightly unless I can think of another option which doesn't require me taking down one of the brackets as I'm sure we used no-more-nails for at least one of them :o:rotfl::rotfl:
