Not been on for a while, as I will admit I'd slipped - but I'm back with a vengenance now.

Out (in the last week) -

Sold in the paper - Big (unused) wardrobe, small fishtank, large CD cabinet, a couple of bags of clothes, toys etc - made £210 for the holiday fund and cleared some much needed space in the garage.
To freecycle/charity - three bean bags, three black sacks of clothes, and about 8 carriers of assorted household 'stuff'.
To the tip (who sell things) - 3 spare tackle boxes (not good enough to sell ourselves), some large soft toys, and a couple of tatty toolboxes that have been sat empty for ages 'just in case'.
To the tip (to dump) - a sack of old holey blankets/sheets to the rag bank, and a large boot full of assorted junk that's no use to anyone.

In - a mug and two pint glasses (from tip).

    I like that out:in ratio :D

To add to my OUT ratio :D -
sold - one country kitchen, laundry centre and large tub of accessories, one plastic trolley, 2 pairs of shoes - £115
Sorted to sell - large box school uniform, 2 large boxes other kids clothes
Charity - one carrier kids clothes
Rag bank - three black bags kids clohes and shoes
(and on the back of that - emptied - 3 suitcases that were packed when we moved house almost 6 months ago :o )

    In - nothing :j

You are all doing so well, I go through notions of doing nothing and clutter builds up and then I go wild and attack it all like today:

Filing: 4 box files into filing cabinet, labelled etc

    Out of the bedroom:
    4 box files for filing
1 bin bag of clutter for the bin
to garage: 1 plastic storage box from bedroom to garage for carboot/charity shop
1 bag of stuff that belongs to the rest of the house (kids stuff, cd's etc

I need to go to recycling, dump as well as the garage is full of plastic bottles and rubbish.

IN: Nothing if I can help it, but need some groceries.

Ahh it feels liberating to get rid of stuff.... but still have a whole life's worth..

Same here! Huge number of leaflets - where do they come from?!
Some bits and bobs from yesterday's boot sale

    OUT
An item on freecycle which finally went to a good home. Original recipient never collected on the three times we decided and then sent me an abusive email when I finally gave it to someone else! Don't think I will be using freecycle ever again!

Clothes, books, CD to boot sale

Lots of old toiletries used up so glass bottles to recycling

Lots of presents to my lovely family who I saw at the weekend

This thread is great - lots of inspiration!

I wish I knew; I have a notice on the front door saying "no free newspapers or advertising leaflets thank you", but we still seem to get a mountain of waste paper. Maybe it's spontaneous generation?:D
