Hi,
Can I please join you. I moved here (Somerset) from London couple of years ago and chucked then an awful lot of stuff away. There is still fair amount of stuff that I didn't have time to sort through and it is now residing in my garage (and my wardrobes and understairs cupboard). To make things worse I started buying books to sell just before the recession so now I am stuck with five and half thousand of books. I have just applied for a job about 100 miles away and if I get it I will be in serious trouble if I haven't managed to get rid of huge amount of stuff by the end of August.
My aim is to go through the whole house and categorise each item into one of the following categories:
- Love it
- Need it/use it
- Sell it
- Freecycle it
- Recycle it
- Chuck it
I will be starting on Wednesday and if I am not here on Wednesday evening telling you about my progress then please shout at me.
Thank you!"Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

A brown, multi layered wooden box for my Hubs to keep his cuff links and watches, loose change and bank cards in, for on his bedside table. $50 AUD I know this wasnt a budget buy but he just throws things in a mug at the moment, they fall all over the floor, go up the hoover hose etc etc. It drives me mad
We are moving to a smaller property in ten days time so we need to use careful storage so that the place isnt cluttered.
ok i think ive just about justified my purchase lol

Poorbutrich, report the person to the freecycle moderator. Thats well out of order.
Ah that's nice of you, but it's probably my fault for being too impatient. I have no doubt that if I reported it, it would be me who gets the telling off, such is the freecycle group I am in! There's no way I could wean myself off freecycle really, so will have to learn some patience! :rotfl:Hi,

Nothing, although I'll be rinsing out the Lush pots today and putting them with the others for recycling.
Y'know, they now give you a free face mask when you bring back 5 black pots. In case those were the ones you were recycling.
(Although, you probably know this already... Hmm)
