    Hiya everyone
I looked at the old thread this time last year and have took babysteps towards decluttering,
Anyway, I've really started sorting stuff the last two weeks so my list is:
one very full car to do a car boot - the garage is almost empty!!
Tidied the shed and greenhouse - went to the tip
Started decorating the bathroom - its been waiting two and a half years!!
Been following Flylady more and doing all the extra bits.
The house and me are starting to feel a lot better!!
    WIN £2008 in 2008 £1836.31 2009 wins - £91!!! 2010 wins in Oz $ 6170.... wins 2011 aprox $2000
MFIT - number 37. Reduce my mortgage from £63,500 to £48,000. now at 54,000...
  • Got a bit more done yesterday....

Cleared out our hall coat cupboard - one old Coat will head away to the Hospice shop at the weekend (they're going to get to know me better than ever down there! LOL!) also found a laundry basket of clothes lurking in the bottom....it may once have been an ironing pile but as I had forgotten I'd got the contents.......! :rotfl: yes, I really AM capable of putting ironing off for that long! Some of those (and the laundry basket!) will go to friends / family, and the rest will join that coat...... We now have room to fit the hoover into that cupboard so we're a step further towards our aim of being able to clear space for another small freezer.

I'm going to use the last few minutes before bed to attack my bedside table, I think.

    I'm ploughing through slowly.

    In

    Groceries
    1 book ( from Sister )
    1 top ( from charity shop )
    Screwdriver set

    Out

    Travel Cot ( Ebay )
2 empty jars i found in the cupboard ( Recycle bin )
    Cosey Toes ( Ebay )
    Top ( Ebay )
    Leapster game ( Ebay )
1 black bag of stuff ( charity shop )

Ebay Total so far after fees - £27.98

I'm quite happy with that for today, i think if i do a bit each day i should get there eventually.

Out: Well I went to do a 27 fling boogie earlier (ala flylady) but it ended up being 90 items.
3 pairs socks. 1 pack of skirting board (well it's stuck to the wall where it should be not lying in the middle of the room!)
Leftover Chinese from weekend and shepherds pie from Friday (eaten for tea) so have space in fridge.
I found an old uniform on the back of my bedroom door. So it went!
I then ironed 1/2 of the monstrous pile and managed to get it all put away too.

Managed to clean up the pc desk this morning. Can't do anything else but did get a bagfull of rubbish from the desk & area around it.
Thanks for the links, suddenly my house doesn't seem half as bad as I thought lol. Still needs a heck of a lot of work though.
I need to get out of the mindset "but you never know when it will come in handy". if it hasn't in the last 5 years chances are it never will.
