    Elfin I also agree it's a good list :T :D

Weezl Great letter - instead of saying that your understanding of The Goods & Services Act (put date in) is ..... Change to: According to The Goods & Services Act (date) your mis-selling is a breach of my consumer rights. That way they can't argue with your point too much IYSWIM? Also I'd end the letter with - I look forward to your early reply and trust that you will be able to resolve this matter satisfactorily. HTH

Sounds good to me too with putting SunnyGirls part at the end so they have to respond, also keep a copy for yourself in case it is 'misplaced'

Patchworkquilt I have managed to order Mary Novak's English Puddings & Desserts from my library. They don't have any other titles though so I'll have to do some detective work ;) Thanks for suggesting her :T

Weezl, great letter! I think it is calm and rational yet firm :) Though I wonder if maybe you should not have told us the name of the company... I know they can be a bit funny about bad press...

So, are you tied into this contract? Because if you can go somewhere else then they are more likely to help I would have thought, to retain your custom.

The book I mentioned is called 'Crazy love' by Frances Chan, very challenging, all about not thinking about giving just your tithe amount but having a generous spirit and giving of your time and energy and resources more freely in general; he was saying that if we Christians really believe then we should be living very distinctive lives where we are not concerned with having all the material things now :). Doesn't mean I stop wanting to get a Kenwood Chef though eh? Need to work on that one, he he

Hope all are good this rather dull Monday morning, supposed to be lovely this afternoon though :D

Great letter Weezl, good luck with it. I'm glad to see you aren't planning on handwashing everything longterm: money needs to work as hard as it can for you and life is also to be lived and enjoyed, especially with a beautiful new son. Hope everything is going well for the three of you, lots love xx

Hello all. This is my first post and having been a lurker for about 18 months have finally registered to reply to post 2539. Weezl you are generous, think of all the ideas, information and motivation you give everyone on here. I have not posted before because others seem to have such good ideas but I couldn't have you thinking you weren't generous when you have helped me so much over the last months and I have read about you helping others. The way we treat people is far more important than any 'thing' we ever give.xxx
