Headache with Wireless phones and BT home Hub 2.0

Any one having problems with BT home Hub 2.0 and their wireless landline?
At the end of August we received our new BT Hub broadband and phone option 3 package, which would enable us to have our existing telephone number which is ex directory and the new internet number for my business use:rolleyes: , when my wife discovered that when she installed the Hub she was unable to dial out on the existing landline:mad:
This was a bit concerning as our phone is a BT studio wireless phone, we believed that there must have been a problem with the exchange so we
contacted the customer service Dept and they sent out an engineer, he informed us that there as an incompactability between the new Hub and our existing BT phone???? We couldn't believe it?? our phone was only six months old, so after seven hours on the phone speakng to different BT depts we eventually got a replacement handset from BT free of charge.
So if you have a wireless phone beware!! or give them S--T and get a free upgraded wireless phone as we did.:D
