Indeed! I said I would continue to post the crossword solutions, and I have received a number of messages saying that I shouldn't go, for which I would like to say thank you! I'd also like to apologise to those who sent me PMs and found my Inbox full. Sorry.

I will continue to post, and for the time being I will try to be a good boy!! In the long run, I'm sure I won't be able to resist poking a bit of fun, or criticising with a wink ... But I do hope that people won't take it all so seriously. I seem forever to be told to chill out, it's all for free, etc. But I couldn't be more chilled out if I tried! :D A lot of people are taking it all much more seriously than me!! The whole PB thing, I mean.

What I did take seriously was the invective that was spewed out on Tuesday. Not my scene at all. This is just a discussion forum, with all sorts of people here, thank goodness. Let's celebrate that, and make suggestions, not instructions, on how we might consider issues, and in doing so provide reasoned evidence and argument, not blind insults.

OK, PB is really, really insignificant in the grand scheme of things. So let's not get so worked up when someone has a different view from our own. Please?

Ha! I'm pontificating again! I'm good at that!

Well, I wonder how Kazzea's day has gone. Will she post a photo of herself in her mortar board?!

I don't know.... I go away for ONE day and they give 50points for a new newsletter .....I should go away more often :) To all those who posted (or thought) best wishes for me today - Thanks :D - I had a nice day and the official photo didn't turn out too badly so I won't be too ashamed when my mum puts it on permanent display :D

EDIT - crossed posts with Droopsnout :) and I have NO idea how to post a photo anyway so you are all safe from my ugly mug :D

Boo! Not fair! Post your mug!!

Thanks to rach1973 for the alert on the IWOOT points! Great find.

And I'll make (labour??!!) the point again ... Yes, I've criticised PB when I thought it deserved it, but I've also praised it when it was, IMHO, appropriate. So here's a big well done to the PB team for negotiating the IWOOT deal - but especially for making such a generous offer for a newsletter sign-up. Excellent stuff! Far outshines any other site's deals that I know of.
