Froddington I'm glad that your Dad is doing so well, and a big
for your twilight input tomorrow. Why do they always make these things on a Monday after work when you're still adjusting from being back after the weekend? It never seems fair to me. Although I suppose it gives you the weekend to prepare.
Sexymouse - Errrmmm - I guess that is the theory! **Looks at bag containing stuff relating to the twilight that is still where I left it on Friday eve**
Thanks for thetho.
Anw's Mum - your friend and her mum are in my prayers
Soappie and Valli - hope your men do their jobs tomorrow!
I'm in for this week and hope for a bit more success (and 27 hour days!) Have done my ironing - well, enough to last me til Friday anyway."There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

Hi all, well early start for me today, we (me and girls) got up at 5.30 to do a car boot.
Took flask and sandwich stuff so we didn't buy any of that kind of stuff there.
Got rid of some [STRIKE]junk[/STRIKE] really useful stuff and some of my Tesco H & B mountain. I also make a point of leaving some stuff for the pickers after in order that I don't have to bring crapola back home with me.
Not a too bad day, after float money and pitch money paid we made £80.00 which is ok. Definately think the credit crunch thang is hitting people hard as tons of people selling and not a lot buying.
On plus side I got a full plastic bag each of peas, french beans and tomatoes for 50p each.:D
Anyway got home about 2pm ish and went to bed as shattered. I'm such a lightweight.:o Got up around 5ish and had some chicken stew that had beeen slowcookering since 5.30 this morning. The house smelled lovely and I could have kissed my lovely SC ('cept I'd have burnt my lips) for just being there.
So ladled out a few bowfuls and felt nourished and revived.
Cleaned chickens out, put unsold items away in various shed and behind settee areas.
Podded some peas, about to top and tail and blanch the french beans and I think I'll slow cook a pasta sauce thang with the toms and 10 bulbs of garlic I got.
Got tons of washing dry which is great so a mass of ironing (which I don't actually believe in) to do.
Really, really fancy some cake but really, really want to lose some weight this week at slimming world so going to be good and have a fruit yogurt combo.
Hope you all have a great week. I definately feel a bit better for getting out and doing something today, been on a bit of a downer this week but hopefully next week will be better.xDFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Hi all
Many thanks for your good wishes re my boiler! DD and I have just showered at mums - didn't do the lawn as didn't want to get all grassy and smelly! (Hee hee any excuse) my brill NDN does the front!
Will mooch around idly until Wednesday night when I will begin to fly like a bird - all washing ironed - except for stuff DS has on floordrobe - he will learn that if HE wants it washed HE will put it in the laundry basket as fairies have all left and gone where they are needed. I can't WAIT til he wants his stuff for footy training because I know it is mouldering in a bag! (Dunno if that's a real word but I like it, it's staying in)
