Evening ladies.
Glad to hear the weekend on the whole has gone well for you. polka i wish you lived closer - i would definitely get you to do a cake for me;) that was fab.
I did some of my list - i didn't manage to get DS1 into his new bedroom because i couldn't get everything ironed - the power cut threw me, then DS2 needed feeding the next time i tried. But, we had a lovely roast, i made parsnip puree for DS2, we visited my family for a couple of hours, and i made the train cake for DS1's birthday, and it turned out really well so i am excited.
I am hoping this will be a good week. It has started well. All of my ebay stuff sold- only for £16, but hopefully i will make a little more than that with postage costs. And better than the £8 if i had got listing price, or £0 if i hadn't bothered. DH is happy as he is taking some of the train carriages to work to share with his workmates. I also get paid tomorrow, and it is £128 :T more than i was expecting. Plus, we are away from Friday morning so only 4 days alone, and then hopefully lots of help from ILs weekend. :A

Well I'm a bit ahead already for the week with some lunch preps dona nd now I've ironed all my work clothes for the week and DD's uniform for all week as well. Not only time saving but money saving as well as iron only on once rather than 5 times.
Right I am off to bed once I put the iron away.
Hope everyone has a good week whatever challenges they face.

DH has been asking me what I want for my birthday (few months off and i'll be 40 years young). I really can't think of anything. Anyway, he know's i've always loved dalmations but I would never pay £500+ for a puppy. Tonight he asked if i'd ever considered adopting a deaf dalmation puppy. He's looked into and apparenty because I work from home, have had a 'problem' dog, have children who've been bought up with animals etc am suitable to adopt one. Even if it doesn't happen i'm so impressed he's thought about it. I promise I won't call him names for at least 24 hours. Gosh, that will be hard!!!
Mudders - that's a really, really hard proposition in my book. However, I wonder if he's doing the research because that's what HE wants? But then he knows you'll be around to do the majority of the work? (Note to self: take that hat with suspicion written on it off!)I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
