morning everyone.
DS1 first full day at big school today... he is soooo excited lol.

Anyhoo, i'm in today. Got a few things to pick up/drop off this morning, but should hopefully be back and flying by dinner time.

Off to iron uniform and sort out dinner money, and drag DP out of bed so we can get a lift to school.

Arghh, why do i have no hot water?? Just doing the dishes and have none? Have put the hot water booster on so will know in an hour if there is a serious problem We have WMH and no gas so hot water should heat overnight and hasnt for some reason. There wasnt a power cut as none of the clocks are flashing so it cant have been that. Grrr, so dont need this! The kitchen is all tidy now though, DW is emptied, just going to empty WM and hang up.

G&B - I have lots of hot water but I can't use it! I really, really, really want a bath! I hope the drains man turns up soon!

Morning everyone,

Glad you like the new smilies - I thought seeing as the forum ones don't seem to be working for everyone, that you may need them. Kazmeister yes you just copy and paste like before.

Well so far no call from the agency for supply, so assuming I won't be going anywhere this morning at least, and seeing as I did all of the rooms in the flat on Saturday with my HHCs, then the living room should be done in one HHC (fingers crossed). Now I just have to get the cat out of that room and into the bedroom.

Also want to make the coffee and walnut cake this morning as I now have the tins. Will have to see if it prints off for me today.

Off to find myself some breakfast now and then get dressed. It's a bit chilly here today so can't spend the day in my nightie. So much for sunny spells today - all we have is clouds at the moment.

Would anyone like to join me in a HHC 9-9.30? I forgot to change the sheets yesterday and didn't realise til I went to bed at 11.40 and found OH in the bed fast asleep, so I'll have to add that to the list too.

Be back in a minute with my cereal,

Monday Mayhem - Living Room, Hall and Stairs
Level 1
Vacuum through the living room, hall and stairs
Level 2
Dusting, even if around everything
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
Clean windows and all glass.. including the tv screen
Clear the mantel and only put back the items which are supposed to be there.. and that doesn't include letters, keys or other treasure!
Level Three
Put all your hotspots in one pile and work your way through it..
Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself
Extra Mission: Pick one or more of the following tasks –

1. Have a bit of a tidy in the cupboard under the stairs.
2. Wipe down any paintwork that needs it.
3. Binbag dance.. Get a binbag.. fill it and bin it!!!
4. Wash any cushions, throws or curtains that need it.


Right:

1. Go to doctors and collect form
2. Tescos for few bits
3. Post office run
4. 10am Optitions appointment
5. Online milk form for dd
