    Good morning all,

    Will try to keep up with the thread this week; managing the lists but can't keep up with the goings-on here!

    Congrats to all going to college this week and hugs to anyone in need.

    Monday Mayhem - Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level 1
    [STRIKE]Vacuum through the living room, hall and stairs[/STRIKE]
    Level 2
    [STRIKE]
    Dusting, even if around everything
    Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
    Clean windows and all glass.. including the tv screen
    Clear the mantel and only put back the items which are supposed to be there.. and that doesn't include letters, keys or other treasure!

    Level Three
    [STRIKE]
    Wipe and water plants
    Put all your hotspots in one pile and work your way through it..
    Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself
    [/STRIKE]

    Extra Mission: Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    1. Have a bit of a tidy in the cupboard under the stairs.
    2. Wipe down any paintwork that needs it.
    3. Binbag dance.. Get a binbag.. fill it and bin it!!!
    4. Wash any cushions, throws or curtains that need it.. Do you need your winter curtains up yet?

    Morning all.
    Hope everyone is well and happy, and if not then please take a big hug from me. Well although the weekend was supposed to be a bit quiet it was not really! I actually did a big kitchen clean last night, including washing the floor (as I had a sudden burst of energy!).
    This is my list for today.
    Good luck everyone and let's hope it brightens up a bit here (its raining here in the North!)

    - get nets for living room (measure windows)
    - see if I can get hold of any winter potatoes to plant
    - make new home card for FIL (?)
    - do roast chicken dinner
    - take DS to park weather allowing
    - meal plan for another couple of weeks
    - put dry washing away

  • YEEEEEEAAHHHH!!!!! I have hot water! Wonder why it didnt heat up overnight? Will see if it does the same tomorrow. At least i have an electric shower though, so even if the water isnt hot i can have a wash.

    Hi G&B sounds like everyones having plumbing problems - when we had the flat, ours did that, got the council guy out and was very embarrased as it was just the timer had been changed...:o ... might be worth checking?

  • I dont have a timer that i'm aware of Denise? The hot water tank is in LOs room behind a locked door and no-one has been in there at all lately. Hopefully it was just a little hiccup...

    Well I've just tried the repaired lid for my Food Processor, and it doesn't fit on anymore. The hot melt glue is in the way, so I've scoured the internet and found that the cheapest replacement lid is £10.95. Bit annoyed that it costs that much just for a lid, but hey, it's ordered now, and seeing as the FP was a gift, I don't have a receipt etc to get a free replacement. Anyway, if it breaks again, at least I know that I could make a fortune selling it for parts.
    Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
