Personally I think the OP is lying and an attention seeker.

Anyone who believes the OP is dim.

Now Im not trying to be offensive but 19 months out of date? Nah....far far far too much turnover in there stores. It just doesnt happen in a high turnover store like a Tesco. Thats my opinion. We have no way of verifying what the OP is saying is true. However any one us can go straight into ANY tesco and pick up say 150 items at random to see if the sell by/ use by date is safe. I very much doubt you will find anything out of date by more than a few weeks. Therefore I believe the OP is a liar and anyone who believes the OP as a bit green.

    Goodbye.

The op says they have a pic but when I requested they post the image they declined.

I go to several Tescos and they do not wear badges with lengths of service on them or year joined etc.

Well, coming to a Tesco's near you soon

Eh? But didn't you want people to upload their evidence to a photo sharing site, to prove to you their facts were accurate?

Ho, hum, back to the naughty step I go.

No the op's photo was of the packet BB date. Thats the photo I requested. Even if that store had those badges, why would you note that. The letter would have said I spoke to xxx who's worked there for 12 years & yyy whos worked there for 19 years. Doesn't work, it's nothing to do with the complaint, no one will need to know that (the company will be able to work out how long it's staff have worked there).

It was just written to try and suggest I was wrong. I ended up proving I was right another way by looking for Tesco average staff turnover on Google anyway.

  • Why should the OP have to provide proof to you uktim29 ('that's what you requested'). Who the hell do you think you are!! You seem intent on dominating every post (often double posting I may add) just to cause an arguement. If you can't answer the OP's question without ridicule, then don't post and move on to a subject you know something about. Nit picking is not helpful, just answer the question (if you can) in a straightforward manner and then go forth and multiple. It's not all about you!

I didn't demand proof, I was just interested.

I was responding to the post of another poster in the post you quoted, not talking to the op. Just as anyone else here and you I am entitled to voice my opinion and ask questions.

Sorry, did I mention the word demand  nit picking again uktim29. You just can't stop yourself. Yes, we all have an opinion, however you don't seem to be able to grasp that part.
