cant get Freeview on my Tv ???

i cant get further than the Dtv no input that bounces all around the tv screen. the book says press the menu button to start auto tuning but nothing happens when i press menu or any of the buttons ???????????????????????
after i auto tuned the annalogue channel it should have automatuicaly started to scan for digital channels but it just went to the Dtv no input.

So you cant get ANY menu up at all?
That points to something being faulty OR flat batteries (Which really shouldnt be on a new tv)

Sorry, but without being there im at a bit of a loss

Hi, niceday999- I bought 2 Goodmans with similar model numbers , although not built-in. This same fault happened on both within days and I returned them for my money back. This is definately a fault and no messing about with the remote will cure your problem.
