landline disconnected - which b/b to go for?

currently i'm using mobile broadband with 3 and topping up £15 a month to get 3gb downloads. problem is, its quite slow and i soon will need a connection i can share with a lodger.

i have checked the cheap b/b article and my options seem to be:

1. reconnect bt line for 29.99 (10.50 rental) then broadband with o2 for 7.50 (if i top up my o2 payg sim card or get a phone contract with them). total £18 a month

2. reconnect bt and get talktalk - but not sure i can do this as talktalk deal includes line rental, i was told you can do this if you pay the higher connection fee with bt - no ties then? if this works then it will only be £15.49 a month with talktalk

3. virgin media, £30 connection fee, £40 wireless router, then £10 for 6 months and £17 after - b/b only deal

what do you reckon guys? am i missing anything?

If you get BT to reconnect the line, the minimum contract term will be 12 months ( 18 on the £29.99 deal ) so you wont be able to take line rental elsewhere in that period without incurring a penalty charge.

first, check out www.samknows.com, and see which ISPs have LLU'd your phone exchange, see what packages they offer, and see if they'll reconnect your phone line as part of the deal, then take it from there....
