Am I missing something? Have found the phone I was looking for with bluetoooth etc but it seems that on the pay as you go tariff you are still subject to a minimum top up of £10 month. Is this right? Could I buy one and then unlock it (not sure how to do this) and go to virgin where I am now? or am I tied in to topping up for x months. Sorry bit new to this.

I don't think you're compelled to top it up. Is it the off-peak calls offer that you're looking at? Like the O2 offer, you get the free minutes if you top up, but it isn't compulsory.0
