They will be printing tokens for two weeks and as you only need 8 you don't need to buy it at the weekend. My gran buys it every day anyway so I will only have to buy 2 papers to get this offer.:j little fire cracker born 5th November 2012 :j0

That's great, thanks.
The Sunday papers cost a fortune!
Far cheaper to read them online (well, bits of them anyway).0 -
The Owl is IMO a fantastic energy-saving helper! I paid £35 for mine and don't begrudge the outlay for a second. If you can get one for £2.92 and the cost of 8 Daily Mails you won't regret it for a second!

I rang for the code for me and then rang and asked my mum is she wanted one so I then rang for a code for her and was given the same code. I wondered if they had logged my telephone number and knew that I had already called so rang on my mobile (yes I know its expensive to call 09 numbers from a mobile) and I was given the same code on my mobile.
Thanks for posting about this offer. I very nearly bought one last week for £35 in Tesco but I had already spent more than £30 to use the £5 off News of the World coupon so thought I would wait until the next NOTW coupon was in. Now it looks like I am going to save even more money!:T0 -

We have received our monitor from British Gas via the Daily Mail telling us we are to receive a free Standby Saver. It wasn't included with the monitor so will it arrive separately?0

Yes, ours did, a day or so later.Call me Carmine....

I applied for a standby saver advertised in the Daily Express, on 22nd July, and have still not received it!
i also heard about these and was under the impression that you had to fill in an application form. I then had a browse on net to see if could find out and decided that i would just fone british gas up as i am already a custmer.
i have just come off the fone and was delighted as the adviser has arranged for me to recieve both completely free. so if any of you are with british gas just fone up and say a friend has told you about these items for free and ask how you apply for them. fingers crossed it should be here within 28 days. whoop whoop ..0 -
Not for me, just called as I too am a customer. I can get one free if I am on benefits or over 70. Neither apply.
Never mind!0
