I have just called for mine, my mums and my granny's and the number was the same for all of us.:j little fire cracker born 5th November 2012 :j0

I am having real problems getting through to the number - it gets to the end and then I get a continuous tone.
If there is anyone who doesn't mind sharing a code ( as it looks as if they are all the same) please would you pm me
Thank you0 -
Scottish & Southern energy will give you one of these for free if you are a customer of theirs. Its on a tariff called betterplan. Same unit prices as you're already on, free monitor, like a calculator with a crocodile clip worth £45. Free postage to you. If you reduce your energy by 10% in a year they give you cash of next year! Think i'm doing it right, so hopefully £££s for me next year!
Sorry, just noticed people wondering about Dual fuel, if you can get 2. These only work for electric, so you won't get one for having 2 accounts im afraid as 1 will be electric & 1 will be gas!.•¨¨*:•..•

Its missleading the Dail Mail web site
On the PDF it says
"I am a British Gas customer - account Number xxxxxxxxxxx
and would like to claim my FREE Energy Monitor AND Standby Saver. I enclose eight tokens and a cheque for £4.99 for courier delivery."
On the web site
Exclusive Offer For British Gas Customers
Plus if you are a British Gas customer - you can also receive a British Gas Standby Saver, worth £19.99, absolutely free - we have 60,000 to giveaway.
The British Gas Standby Saver is a great way to help save money, energy and the environment by cutting down on wasted electricity when appliances are left on standby.
To claim yours, simply tick the relevant box and fill in your account number on the Order Form and enclose a cheque for £4.99 to cover postage (this amount covers postage for the Energy Saving Monitor also). You will automatically be sent your free British Gas Standby Saver along with your electronic Energy Saving Monitor.
So what is it to be do you need to send the 8 vouchers or not if you are a BG customer
Also being a dual fuel user I have two accounts

You need to send the 8 tokens to claim the monitor but if you are a BG customer you can also get the standby saver by paying extra postage. You have to collect the tokens either way.:j little fire cracker born 5th November 2012 :j0

Its conflicting information on the web site and PDF. on the web site under BG customers it doesn't state you have to send the 8 tokens in. But on the PDF it does0

The automated system is probably using caller id to identify each telephone call, so you can only get one per household. Did you use the same telephone line to call the number?
Since there are 5 digits to the reservation code I presume that they are from 00000 to 99999 to represent the 100,000 units available.0 -

Yes I did. What a pain if I have to phone again. I only done it for my mum and gran as it was easier. Surely they don't do it like that or else why did they ask for the name and address? Think I'll email them.:j little fire cracker born 5th November 2012 :j0 -
I don't think it says on the site but can you just collect coupons from the Daily Mail on weekdays or do you have to include any from the weekends?0
