Anyone flown with KLM?

I worked for them a number of years ago and they were reknowned for losing baggage. Not sure if they are still as bad but I would suggest making sure you have a few essentials to keep you going in your hand luggage should your check in luggage go astray.0

If you plan on watching a movie, be aware that the earphones handed out will be carp, so if you do not already have one, buy an earphone jack adaptor as pictured in the link below and this will allow you to use your Ipod earphones which will be far, far superior. You should find them for £1 or £2 locally.

I'll defend KLM on that front and say that they are damn good on the luggage front these days and I've always arrived at my destination with my luggage, even when I've missed connections and been re-routed of had tight connections due to delays...... Air France on the other hand via CDG are a whole different ball game!!The MSE Dictionary

Seems like I will need to add some of those headphone adaptors to my shopping list. Had to purchase some headphones with those adapotors on a recent flight with airtours and the sound was terrible.I hate migraines.0

I've flown KLM loads of times and they've always been great. The only problem is watch how long you give yourself to connect in AMS. I took flights with only a 1 1/2 hour connection time in AMS, but my first flight was an hour late. My end result was that I made my connection, but my bag didn't. I was flying to Osaka so it meant that my bag didn't arrive until the next day.0
